Being a finalist for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards already feels like winning!

Being a finalist for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards feels like winning. It validates the hard work and dedication poured into transforming ideas into impactful realities. This recognition celebrates not only past achievements but also the promise of future possibilities. It is an honor that affirms my journey and fuels my passion to continue pushing boundaries.

I am thrilled to attend the awards, where my journey of resilience is celebrated. From transforming waste glass into exquisite architectural pieces to establishing my own glass studio, this path has been marked by dedication and innovation. Being a finalist for Maker & Creator Entrepreneur of the Year is an honor, reflecting my commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship.

Current project: 1.5 tonnes of bottle glass were transformed into 800 white tiles, now elegantly complementing grey slate tiles at the Grade II listed Buttermarket building in Redruth, Cornwall. More images to be shared when it is fully completed.

Image from 2004: At my Bachelor’s degree show, I showcased my first recycled glass products, marking the inception of my journey with fused recycled glass.
